I put what I considered the favorite album by the majority of each band's fans. I don't lije Slayer either.

RIDE THE LIGHTNING
By the way, the title came from a Steven King book that Kirk Hammet was reading.
One of the prisoners was being escorted to the electric chair -
another prisoner said to him, as they walked by, " going to ride the lightning "
I remember my last time at a record store Newbury Comics.....
I was browsing....and the cashier clerk put on the Ride The Lightning....
I stopped in my tracks and thought....I know this beginning....
then it blasted out - I immediately bought the CD - F*ck everything else in the store !

As much as I love Rust In Peace, I absolutely love Ride The Lightning, as Cliff has more influence on this album than any other Metallica album. I loved Among the Living more back in the day, but realized years later that Spreading the Disease is better. I started off with "Reign In Blood" when it first came out, but once again, I became a bigger fan of their next two records.

RTL making a comeback.

Rust in Peace, although all 4 are great albums.
