Haven't heard anything yet this year that truly grabs me but I picked up the new Styx. Not exactly metal but it's a really solid prog rock album

I like the new Confess album quite a bit. The style is different from their last album, but it still sounds like them. It's less sleaze and more new wave of hair metal in the vein of Crazy Lixx.

Walpyrgus - Walpyrgus Nights

The new Mr. Big album, Defying Gravity will be near the top of my list. It's awesome.

I am really enjoying the new tankard album. One of their best in recent years.
