Hey Big D fans, this project is for you! Jimmy has teamed up with Jim Chaffin ( The Crucified, The Blamed, Fasedown) and Victor Macias ( Tourniquet ) for a Thrash project that will bring back the classic D sound. Fast and Heavy!!! The project is slated for a spring release and shows are lining up in Europe as this post goes live. We have plenty of extras for you to choose from. Whatever you can afford, we'd greatly appreciate it.
I dunno, I was kinda underwhelmed by the tracks I heard from "Hear What I Say," so I never bought that album...does anybody think they might still have some gas in the tank?

I thought "Hear What I Say" was the best they did since back in the day, far and away blows away the previous two!

Sounds promising but we've all heard that song and dance before from other performers. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I believe this time Jimmy will "deliver" (pun intended).
He has Jim Chaffin from The Crucified on drums and I heard a small sample on his YouTube channel. I was totally disappointed with the last one... especially using such a great drummer like Jayson Sherlock! So hopefully this new one will be a worthy Swan Song.

I'm hoping this is better than Hear what I Say. I think it will with Jim on board.Thinking about pledging some. There are some cool things in the packages.

A bit puzzled at the lack of respect for the last one...

I dunno about everyone else, but I gave  the whole "Hear What I Say" album a listen on YouTube the other day after this discussion started, just to see if maybe I'd misjudged it, aaaaand... it was pretty blah. (shrugs)

The song you posted reminds me of a Velvet Revolver song that I hate.

Between Bride and Deliverance and Mortification promising "old school" or "classic" I've taken the bait far too many times. Morty delivered a time or two these last 15 years, but I'm still waiting for "D" to do so...

I don't mind Heart What I Say! at all. I think Ult also gave it a positive review on NLTM. I'm just not enough of a fan to participate in crowd funding another release. I also think that if bands are going to promise a return to a classic sound they should at least post some demo clips or anything that would give some idea of what that actually means.

I haven't been impressed by anything Deliverance has put out since Stay of Execution...... If Jimmy really wants to put out a classic Deliverance album, he needs to write in standard tuning....

Hear What I Say! I will believe it when I hear it! Everything since What a Joke has been, well, kind of a joke in my opinion compared to the initial standard set. I think Jimmy has his own studio or works in his own studio so not sure why they couldn't do it if he truly wanted to.

I can't wait to hear the new "thrash" Deliverance album! And the solo project too... especially if it sounds like Learn and Stay of Execution.
