Time for the main event. Hope it saves this PPV (if that's possible).

Sammi just smashed Owens wickedly through a ladder. Literally destroyed the thing.

Yeah, this match is the saving grace of another abysmal PPV.

Owens just kicked Zayne in the mommy daddy buttons. Right now it's him and AJ going at it.

Styles just did a death valley driver to Owens onto a ladder. Brutal!

Ziggles just took the ladder out from under AJ causing him to fall to the ring. Boring Corbin just took him out. Nakamura (who was taken out by Boring earlier) has returned!

It's down to Nakamura and AJ now. Either one works for me.

What is sad is when wrestling websites predict the outcome and are correct by 100 %.

Well no Cardinal game tonight and Gotham is over for the season so I guess that means I'll be watching Raw. It better be decent though or I'm going back to the matches on my ECW DVD.

Going skip and watch My Three Sons. Been recording it on the DVR ever since it started on MeTV.

OK, so far RAW is about as meh as expected, But 2 observations:
1) When did Booker T become Raw's new "Jerry Lawler"? He's in full heel mode on commentary. 2) DeVon Dudley is now part of the "WWE security"? That's who came out to "rescue" Finn Balor after Elias Samson jumped him.

This is my first time in many months watching a full Monday Night Raw. I forgot how tedious it is to go through one of these all the way (normally watch the hour and a half Hulu version. Just glad I have it on DVR and can fast forward through much of it.

You guy's got what you want (heck, I wanted it too), a heel Cass and a break up of the team.

I didn't necessarily want a heel Cass but I definitely wanted that team to split up. Send Enzo to the cruiserweights.

I predicted they'd have another MitB ladder match for the ladies. Though how predictable WWE is that's not a huge accomplishment.
Time to bury Luke Harper even further, this time against the human steroid machine.

I agree with that article to a point. But I think it overstates Reigns' importance in the way WWE Universe reacts to Strowman.
The obvious answer is to turn Reigns heel since fans already hate him. Then this whole thing goes away.
But I disagree with the part about Strowman only getting cheers because he's feuding with Reigns. WWE fans are smart. 1) They can see that, like Big Show, Strowman has lost weight which demonstrates his commitment to the profession. 2) Stroman's match with The Big Show showed fans that Strowman can move a lot more than most men his size. 3) I completely disagree with the premise that Strowman has only started getting cheered because he's been feuding with Reigns. That's undoubtedly part of it but anyone who has been paying attention would have noticed that the WWE Universe was already starting to cheer Strowman before he even had any interaction with Reigns. The Universe knows a "hot property" when they see it and Reigns has nothing to do with that.

The only thing I agree about that article is that Braun is being booked as a heel and it's not working. That's the fault of booking and not the fans. Vince knows that Roman is not liked but continues to let him get pushed to the moon without changing anything about the character.
Also, it's not the fault of Roman either. The guy can work a match, his in ring skills are not as bad as some may suggest. His problem lies in the fact that he is a charisma vacuum as a face. When he was silent in the Shield he was quite popular but the moment they started him taking to the mic he bombed like a Hulk Hogan movie. IMO, his delivery is monotone and wooden. I know he's talking from a script but other wrestlers can do that but are able to put some personality into it. Not only do they need to make him a heel, I think they should limit his mic time to one sentence, two tops. Make him more like Brock Lesnar because like Brock he lacks the charisma for a good promo and I doubt even as a heel he could deliver one.

I've been saying something like that last sentence for a while. Turn Reigns heel and give him Heyman as a mouthpiece. Especially since I've been rewatching the "Rise and Fall Of ECW" DVDs. Even people who don't like Heyman admit that he can talk and get ANYONE over.
