Forreal. One of the fusion greats. He had a very rock-oriented, rougher psychedelic sound which sounds so dope in a jazz context. He was a different beast entirely than people like McLaughlin and Allan Holdsworth, and should go down in music history as one of those unsung greats that opened doors but gets little credit.
