Oh boy. Fandango vs Cena.
The commentators of Southpaw Regional Wrestling going one on one. Woo hoo! JBL even referenced the character Fandango played in those videos. About the only highlight of that match.

Did he?
I didn't even bother watching that one; I flipped over to news for 10 minutes. I find myself doing that more and more frequently during WWE programming.
Just wait about 2 weeks when baseball season starts and "Gotham"s spring season starts up; I won't even bother with WWE anymore.

Lackluster SD the last two weeks. Miz and Maryse were this week's saving grace.
I totally agree. This would have been an even worse episode that last week's without "Total Bella Bullsh*t"
I'm going to have to agree on all points. I've always been luke warm to utterly cold toward Miz but I was surprised to actually enjoy his appearance(s) this week.

Miz and Maryse mocking "Total Bellas" was hilarious IMO. Best thing about this week's SD show.
They were clearly having a blast doing it and I'd bet Cena and Bella were cracking up too.

Finally got around to watching this week's Talking Smack and the Ugos petitioned to face Gallows and Anderson at WM33.

I hope if they accept WWE's offer that they keep them together for at least a year to capitalize on the momentum they have right now as a duo but separating them to spread the momentum to both brands makes sense too. I'd love to see them invade NXT for at least one show too though.

I doubt that the whole Brother Nero, Broken Matt Hardy will appear in WWE as the whole legal stuff going on with Matt and TNA. I would like to see them come as a team and decimate these tag teams.
We shall see what happens....

Going back to the Memphis territory for a sec this was posted yesterday:
Here's the podcast for those interested:http://www.prowrestlingscoops.com/wwe/wwe-news/lawler-memphis-wrestling-library-coming-to-network/
Jerry Lawler says that the Memphis Wrestling library could be headed to the WWE Network soon. Lawler discussed the situation on the third episode of his Dinner With the King podcast and when asked about chances the library showing up on the Network, he said, “Yes, absolutely. Without a doubt.” Lawler talked about the ownership situation regarding the library, saying, “Yes, I do own [the library]. There’s just some controversy about USWA footage, which would have been from ’88 to ’96. But all the other, from ’77 to ’88 and from ’96 on, yeah, I own that footage.”

Sweet! If that happens I may finally subscribe to WWE Network. I wonder if that would include the weekly 2 hour Saturday morning shows that emanated from the WMC TV studio. Or is he just talking about the stuff from the arena events. I'd love to see that WMC stuff again. You'd see more blood in 10 episode of that than in 10 years of RAW. It was almost as gory as ECW. And the live arena events were even bloodier.

The wrestling rumor mill is saying that Foley was "fired" from RAW because he needs hip surgery. There are also rumors that the new RAW GM will be Kurt Angle.

That's what I've been saying... I'd rather see Angle wrestle at least one more feud maybe post-WM into SS.

I have completely stopped watching WWE now. Mostly because I now have access to New Japan Pro Wrestling on AXS TV and it's exactly what I want wrestling to be. No stupid soap opera style storylines and a very stiff style. Every contest is treated as an athletic competition and all the belts are coveted and treated with respect. There are virtually no run ins - only the Bullet Club does them - and every match has a finish - including time limit draws.
The AXS TV version of NJPW has Jim Ross and Josh Barnett on commentary and they are excellent, of course - and simply call the action and treat it as an actual sport. What they have on AXS is about 8 months old, so they are now covering the 2016 G1 Tournament. I highly recommend NJPW if you are bored with WWE and looking for an alternative.
This is what just aired this week:
Here's an example of their coverage of Wrestle Kingdom 11, which is the NJPW version of Wrestlemania:
This video sums up NJPW well:

I keep forgetting that's on. I found it over the summer but I've been watching MMA on Friday nights. NJPW always has good announcers. Mauro Ranallo was doing play by play when I first found it on AXS. That was when AJ Styles was leading Bullet Club. That's where I first saw Prince Devitt too.

I have AXS on Sling TV and they have a on demand library of NJPW, so I've been catching up with old episodes. Great stuff!

Well one good sign is that the 12 year old girl and Sasha Banks won tonight which hopefully means Bayley loses at WM.

Sorry I'm late to the party, I just started RAW and the opening and the promoting of a Brock/Turdberg face off already has me nauseous. Mrs. Toho already?! Well, the sooner she's on the sooner she's out of the way.

Eww, Bayley's Alka-Seltzer personality is not only irritatingly bubbly but just as bland. Plop, plop, fizz...
