Yeah that result sucked. I'm definitely all-in for Houston to win the WS. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| I gotta pull for Houston as well. I can't stand the other remaining teams. | |

| I'll pull for Houston to beat the Yankees. I'm hoping the Dodgers sweep the Cubs. | |

| Sadly I want the Dodgers to pound the Cubs too, even though LA is the West Coast version of the old Yankees in a lot of ways. I'm just sooooooo sick and tired of hearing about the Cubs. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Much to my chagrin I'm watching the Cubs/Dodgers game and I definitely find myself pulling for LA. I've really developed a strong dislike of the Cubs. I wouldn't call it a "hatred" yet but if they keep progressing in this post-season I can easily see it becoming that. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

You can't really say that LA is like the Yankees now. The trade with Boston a few years ago made that talk somewhat of a reality. But now the last 3 to 4 years they've went more through their farm system. Anyway, just watched the Dodgers tie up this game.

| And the Dodgers won.
Watching that game made me realize I've actually learned to HATE the Cubs. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Turned off the Packers/Vikings game when the news came out that Rodgers has a broken collarbone and will most likely be out for the year. So much for this NFL season...at least Green Bay will get a higher draft pick than they usually do.

| Yeah that's about as bad a loss as Green Bay could have.
I was watching NFL RedZone when the news broke and suddenly every game they switched to was breaking in with the news. It's not only a tough loss for Green Bay but a tough loss for the NFL in general. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| As a Chicago native I'm thrilled that the Cubs are out of this. The rhetoric employed on their behalf became annoying about 30 minutes after they won the World Series last time and has continued until now. | |

Amen to that! I actually was OK with them winning the WS last year but the incessant "Cubs are great, Cubs are building a dynasty, Theo Epstein is a genius" rhetoric got old fast. I actually thought I didn't care who won the NLCS this year because I don't like the Dodgers either but as I watched it I found myself pulling for LA more and more because I'm just so sick and tired of hearing about the Cubs. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Watched the World Series last night.
Kershaw being Kershaw. Maybe the media can finally lose the "he can't win the big one" tag. If Kershaw hadn't faced the Cardinals so many times in post-season that wouldn't even be an issue but for some reason St. Louis has just seemed to have his number. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| The guy can flat out pitch and is one of the best pitchers of our generation so to be tagged with that is ludicrous. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Randy Johnson had that tag also, until he won 3 world series games in 2001. Must have been a really good game tonight. Wish I didn't have to work so late, looked like a good one to watch. Was getting worried that the Astros were gonna lay down and die, but I guess they woke up the bats tonight. Hopefully I can get home early on friday for game three.

| I went to bed after the 7th when the Dodgers were up 3-1. I start work at 5:30am and with their pen I figured the game was over. Imagine my surprise when I woke up to find Houston won 7-6 in 11 innings. That game featured 8 homeruns, a new World Series record, and 5 of them were in extra innings. I always miss the good stuff in post-season. Remember the David Freese homer that bailed out the Cardinals in the WS against Texas? Yeah, I didn't see that live either. All the good stuff happens long after my bedtime. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
