I caught the tail-end of that one.  Now waiting for MTSU vs Arkansas State.  I used to drive thru the MTSU campus to get to work every day back in the mid-80s and I also saw several concerts there (Elton John and Styx among others) so I'm pulling for MTSU.

Holy crap! The dreaded Rams are just annihilating Seattle. It's 34-0 and the first half isn't even over.

The Patriots at Steelers. Somehow the Pats are able to pull out a last second win with a call by the refs. Hmmmm...

Yeah that one was extremely suspect. I used to think I knew what an NFL catch looked like; apparently I don't anymore.

It really sucks when it happens to the team you support. Oh well, hopefully we can meet them again and get a little revenge.

It didn't count because of the Calvin Johnson Rule.

That rule is nonsense of course, but the NFL keeps it for some reason.

Oh I'm not really disputing the validity of the call, I just think it's a ridiculous rule. Like I said, if a ball carrier running and crosses the goal, it's a td, even if the ball then gets knocked out of the carrier's hand (however it may occur). I think that that rule should not apply in the end zone for a receiver. Both the Johnson and James catches should have been ruled tds, at least in my book. But I didn't write the rules so.....

It's been more entertaining than most of the bowl games I've watched so far. Lots of blowouts.

Ask the Pats kool aid drinkers and they think that everything is hunky dory with the officiating.

In fact, Pereira is going off on it again on the live Fox broadcast of the Seattle/Dallas game.

That Riveron guy is the worst. That's the fourth time this season he's helped the Pats with some questionable rulings.

On another note, I still root for the Rams to lose every week but not because I have anything against the players; it's all about Kroenke. That said, Todd Gurley is turning out to be every bit the beast we thought he'd be when the Rams drafted him while they were still here. The guy can both run the ball and catch the ball as he proved today with over 100 yards of both.
