Batman vs. Superman
DC just cannot seem to get anything right in their movies. Dull is a nice rating for this movie.

By any chance have you seen their animated version of "Batman: The Killing Joke" yet? I haven't but it looks badass!
I've seen it. I hate to be one of "those guys", but the comic was better than the movie in my opinion. First off, they padded out the run-time with a pre-story of Batgirl and Batman being "intimate", then Batgirl being all clingy and offended when Batman blows her off. It was weird and kinda pointless. I don't know if it was based on a comic storyline or just created to extend the length of the movie.
The original The Killing Joke graphic novel was more or less my intro to the graphic novel genre and I thought it was somewhat shocking and, well, graphic for the time. It's one of those stories that kinda stuck with me over the years and it just didn't have the same impact in cartoon form. The movie isn't bad by any means, but I was a little disappointed.

"The Hole" (2012)
It's terror in the Southern California suburbs! Two brothers and their single Mom move into a new house, and soon the boys discover a locked trap door in the basement. Naturally, they can't resist opening it, which reveals a seemingly bottomless pit and eventually (of course) unleashes something nasty that threatens them and the cute girl next door. Joe "Gremlins" Dante directed this throwback kids-versus-spooky-things flick which will bring back memories of late '80s cable favorites like "The Gate" or "The Curse." Fun stuff!

Fear No Evil (1981)
A teenage boy (Stefan Arngrim) is the embodiment of Lucifer and is planning to rule mankind and bring Hell on Earth. Meanwhile, the archangels in their human bodies plan on opposing him. I saw this years ago as a teen and loved it. Seeing it again, though, it doesn't quite hold up. The cons include some suspect acting, out of place homoerotic scenes (including a rather effeminate Lucifer) and confusing dialogue. The pros include a zombie uprising (with cool make up) and a cool soundtrack (with the Talking Heads, the Ramones and the Boomtown Rats). I can't recommend it but it's also not a complete waste of time.

Exactly. A lot of the story takes place in a high school so I guess it fits. Its actually played twice.

It's a shame, they have so many better songs but that's the only one anyone knows.

Dead And Buried (1981)
A small coastal town is beset by a number of gory murders on visiting tourists by a number of the townspeople, who photograph and video their deeds. As the sheriff (James Farentino) investigates. The murdered victims start to come back to life. This one was pretty good, with good gore effects and some twists and turns in the story plus a good cast including Robert "Freddy Krueger" England and Jack "Chico And The Man" Albert son.

Oh man, I saw that one a few years back. I'd been curious about it for years cuz the poster/video cover art looked intriguing but it was such a stiff, haha.
I remember when the "Anti-Christ" finally revealed himself he looked like a kid dressed as Frank N Furter on his way to a "Rocky Horror" showing. I remember turning to my wife and saying "That is the least scary Antichrist I have ever seen."

"X-Men: Apocalypse" (2016)
This is what, the seventh X-Men movie? Eighth? Honestly, I've lost track. Anyway, this latest installment is set in the early 1980s and pits the mutant heroes against an ancient Egyptian super-mutant God type who (of course) wants to destroy the world. As usual, lots of blasting, zapping, and massive property destruction follows. Apocalypse runs a bit over-long (nearly two and a half hours) but the FX are great and the performances (by a mix of returning series vets and some new faces) are fine, so this may be my second fave flick in the X-franchise (right behind "First Class").
