Man, if you're into classic 80s rock, you need to check this album out. It's another Stormspell gem. I've been spinning it for a few weeks now and the thing is fantastic. It's like a mix of traditional metal and the 80s versions of Motley Crue, Scorpions, and Cinderella.
Or something like that. I hate comparing bands. Haha. Anyway, check it out:

That's another one of Stormy's releases that I've had my eye on for awhile, but every time I look it up on CDBaby, it's out of stock...
I finally landed his release of Victim's "By the Neck" recently after coming up empty on it at CDBaby a bunch of times so I can wait...

According to Wiki's weirdly worded entry: "XYZ was originally created in Lyon (France) where Patt Fontaine and Terry Ilous were born and grew up. Then they moved to Los Angeles, and began a musical career in 1986."
Did not know that.

I do recall reading something years ago that Terry Ilous was French, but I never thought of XYZ as anything but a LA Strip hair band.
That Leather Heart sounds decent enough. I could probably listen to more.

Bumpity-bump-bump
Recently picked this one up and it's a scorcher. Worth checking out if you dig 80's melodic metal. Along with the references already made, I also detect a hint of Dokken with all the harmony vocals.
They also do a decent cover of 'Danger Zone'. No, not Kenny Loggins from 'Top Gun', you silly goose. The Black Sabbath tune from the non-Sabbathy Seventh Star album.
