I'm surprised St. Anger isn't on the list.
Should be. I just didn't think of it at the time.
What about Killen?

I love their album Two Steps from the Move. Owned it on cassette once. Loved that song "I Can't Get It" but can't say I've heard a whole bunch of their stuff. I am almost tempted by Winger's In the Heart of the Young. Winger gets a lot of hate, some deserved and some not so much, but that album had some really gross, cheesy songs on it. Little Dirty Blonde was really sickening.
In the Heart of the Young is a good record. Winger get a lot of undeserved hate in my opinion. Really solid band that were a lot more than "Seventeen" and "Headed for a Heartbreak" (though I have no specific issue with those either).
Yeah both those first two albums are killer, even if the second gets a tad fluffy. That band had a sick hold on dynamic composition.
Their third album "Pull" is even better, and is generally considered their best work.
I was getting ready to hop in to mention Pull as well. I doubt I would've liked it had I bought it in 1993, but when I did pick it up 15 years after its release, I loved it. It's a great record.

Killen is not total garbage, it's just not a standout album to me. It reminds me of any number of East Coast garage bands from the 80's, but that doesn't mean it's crap. So nope, Killen wouldn't make any list of mine. It's better than St. Anger but that's not saying much.

Forgot about Fist Full of Bees, though it does have one or two decent songs. I haven't heard Street Corner Queen in a decade or more. I'd have to revisit it. I know the album cover would rank as one of the worst of all time.

I find the entire concept of Fist Full of Bees to be hilarious, it's like when mothers try to dress like their teenage daughters, the idea of a band like Bride trying to be Linkin Park or Limp Bizkit just seems so out of place that it's laughable.
I like Helldorado myself, yes it sometimes gets really stupid lyrically, but musically it's really solid so I find fairly easy to tune out the really juvenile lyrics. I personally prefer it over K.F.D., which felt too much like the band was trying to be Nine Inch Nails or Fear Factory.
I get why you despise Hysteria, though that album was my first exposure to Def Leppard(and one of my first ever exposures to hard rock along with the Scorpions) so that album has a very special place for me personally.
Spells of Fear I find very average and forgettable.
Agreed on Bottle Rocket, holy hell that thing was awful, out of all the albums where hard rock bands attempted to go Grunge, that's easily the absolute worst(Buzz is pretty bad as well).
Eye II Eye i'll admit to liking, though it's all over the place musically and lyrically(same with Pink Bubbles Go Ape).
I tried listening to "A Different Beat" and it sounds nothing like Gary Moore for the most part, kind of reminds me of Queen's Hot Space.
What about Holy Soldier-Promise Man? Would that make it into your worst albums list?

If you include live albums, one I struggled with, was Live At Hammersmith by Nuclear Assault. The quality was terrible.

Promise Man was yet another band grasping at staying relevant while lying to themselves and their fans that, "we are finally getting back to our roots. We were never really a heavy metal band to begin with..." I call bullshit. Holy Soldier and Def Leppard with "Slang" inspired me to write the song "Never", which was one of Ultimatum's more popular songs so I'll give them credit for that. Haha! Otherwise I don't find much redeeming value to "Promise Man".
I agree with you about Fist Full of Bees. The follow-up Live At Cornerstone album is just as hilarious due to the stage banter. "We can still play these old songs, but we will pay for it in the morning which is why we play rapcore now." (or something to that effect).

That is interesting.
How about Queen-Hot Space? It sounded like you really hated that one in your review.
