New Redemption! Pretty straightforward metal song for them. Quite good, but not really expected.

Too brainy lyrics - on the wimpy side - but maybe there's metal heads - who need to learn the lyrics and sing them out loud in a room - as his wife is in the next room. Not my thing.

Never heard of them? It's Ray Alder's other band. They're usually much more progressive.

I've heard of them and I know they've been discussed around here before. I guess I just never really bothered listening to them before. Not sure why though. I listened to quite a few tunes on YouTube and liked them well enough. I could see picking up something from them in the near future.

FYI, according to the Laser's Edge website, a 2 cd edition of this new album is coming...

Englund is a great vocalist, but very different.

I'm not familiar with Tom Englund, but I suppose it will be fine. I'd hope that Nick Van Dyk would have sense enough to not hire some hack to sing on his album.
