I know that Udo pronounces the name of his band as you-dee-oh, so the periods are appropriate. I don't know why he does this, but maybe he considers U.D.O. to be a band rather than just his solo project.

I should get that. I own no Stone, yet know a bunch of their songs and have always heard them being talked about in pubs and bars and festivals.

Good stuff. I've got more Finnish music than any English person should really have (mostly down to the amazing Svart records) but the only Finnish thrash I have is the awesome Prestige.

I'm on the Lasers Edge mailing list and debated getting this one myself. There was a time when I woulda scooped this up in a flash, but now I'm not so sure that it would get much play time from me. I don't want to buy it just to have it sit on a shelf after one listen.
