Good pick up, many. I am ashamed to admit that I have tons of Deep Purple albums but don't have any Gillan stuff. Every time I seek to rectify that, something else comes up and I forget until a time like now. So much music and so small a budget.

I should be in for a treat, as I have never heard this album before, and this is a highly rated classic from what I've understood. I'm barely familiar with Riot at all. They were always one of those bands I almost checked out.

Mariusz Duda, the main composer, bassist and vocalist of Riverside, was in this band for a spell in their early days. Xanadu sounds just them.

These guys are still kicking around, huh? Did you buy these directly from the band? I thought they were just putting out digital downloads these days. I haven't heard much from them since Death Potion.

That was my first introduction to Riot; back when that album came out the video for "Bloodstreets" was in regular rotation on Headbanger's Ball. I slove this album and still have my cassette. Is that the LP and has a poster with it, Lari?

Very nice pick up on Hexx. I have been lookin' them up on the tube since you clued me in to them. And I can't get enough of Banshee either! Hopefully my tax return comes in before my daughter is born.

The Hexx box set is very nice. I don't know why Metal Blade only released it in Germany, but at least it's available on Amazon.

Banshee is great. Too bad they never got a break.

Yeah. A quick forum search shows the last Avantasia thread to be from 2013. I am a few albums behind on these guys.

Totally not metal at all, but I picked up a sweet compilation CD of James Bond movie music at Goodwill on my way home tonight...for 99 cents I couldn't pass it up. Those classic 007 theme songs are badass!
