"Secret Agent Fireball" (1966, aka "The Spies Kill in Beirut")
Another cheap n' cheesy, enjoyably silly James Bond knockoff from Italy, this one starring American actor Richard Harrison as Bob Fleming, aka "Agent X-117," who travels across Europe and the Mideast romancing hot babes and tangling with Russian agents in search of a stolen microfilm. Nice work if you can get it.

ABCs of Death 2
This is my 4th time watching this flick. Most critics seem to praise this one more than the original and while I'll agree it doesn't have nearly as many "valleys" in the stories as the original ABCs of Death does, I also don't think it has the heights either. For example, for me there's nothing in the second one that touches "D Is For Dogfight" from the first one.
Sic 'em Buddy!

The Martian. Here we have, for the third f*ckin' time, Matt Damon in need of rescue. First Saving Private Ryan, then Interstellar, now this. Dude needs a tether wherever he goes.
Regardless, a quite awesome movie.

"Agent 505: Death Trap Beirut" (aka "From Beirut With Love," 1966)
More swingin' 60s Eurospy fun. A smooth Interpol agent (Frederick Stafford) stationed in Beirut romances a lovely lady photographer (French beauty Genevieve Cluny) while tracking a supervillain known only as "The Sheik," who plans to unleash a new kind of chemical weapon on the world. The story in this German/Italian Bond knockoff was a hopeless muddle but there were lots 'n' lots of pretty girls in it, therefore I was entertained.

My son had watched this in his French class last year and enjoyed it so much that he wanted us to watch it too.

Finally got around to watching Spectre. I've read a lot of lukewarm reviews on it but I really liked it. If this is Craig's last go as Bond, I think he went out with a bang.

I loved it, I think the critics felt let down after Skyfall. Maybe not as good but still ranks higher than a good number of Bond flicks. And f the critics, they are paid to be as critical as possible.

Went to see Deadpool last night. It was hilarious! It captured the character perfectly.

"Deepstar Six" (1989)
The crew of an undersea research station is menaced by a giant, hungry something-or-other in Sean "Friday the 13th" Cunningham's cheap looking but entertaining aquatic "Alien" variant which was one of several underwater horror flicks that tried to beat James Cameron's "The Abyss" to the punch in 1989.

The trusted critics that I read never really trashed the film. I haven't seen it, but I can understand their disappointment regarding a certain story thread that really sounds goofball. I still look forward to seeing it with an open mind.

You need to watch that one. I'd love to hear your take on it because I'm still not sure I understand the ending even after watching it half a dozen times now. I will say the FX are simply amazing given the $5000 budget each director was allocated.

Cool. I'm gonna watch it as soon as my kids are in bed (I'm sure it's not quite appropriate for a 3 year old haha).

Yeah, it's definitely not fit for toddlers. I'm not sure it's even fit for adults...It's not really extremely gory or sexual or anything, just....disturbing
