He's actually pretty good on it too. I played trumpet as a kid and my brother played trombone so I know all about "tone" on brass instruments. Woods isn't just out there using it to make noise; he can actually play it.
I realized his talent when he played John Cena's theme song.

I am not familiar with the game but he played the theme for Final Fantasy at the last PPV

Tonight on Smackdown:
Lawler to Kevin Owens sitting at ringside:
"Are you willing to face Ryback or are you going to run?"
Owens: "King, do I look like I run anywhere?"
Classic!

Cant wait for Samoa Joe to show up on Raw. Now James Storm is in NXT and rumor is Bobby Roode isn't far behind. I am glad they are letting them keep their current names.

I wish Roode and Storm would reform "Beer Money". Probably won't happen though because of the stupid "PG" rule in WWE.

I don't want any of the TNA guys to ever show up on the main roster. They will be ruined there. I hope they stay in NXT and HHH is successful in turning it into an alternative brand. NXT is so much better than the crap on WWE right now.

Good point, while I would love to see Storm, Joe & Roode on Raw they would probably be buried by Heath Slater and Hornswoggle.

Maybe Joe and Roode, but not Storm. From what I hear, James Storm's deal was a big one. He's allowed to keep his name and has full creative control of his character. He also doesn't have to spend a long time in NXT. The latest we'll probably see him is The Royal Rumble. With all the concessions they had to make for him, they are going to get the most they can from him.

I wonder if Storm will be face or heel. I liked him as both in TNA. If he's going solo in WWE I want him to be heel because WWE needs more strong heels.

Last month Chris Jericho interviewed Dana Warrior for his podcast. Just got around to listening to it last night, it was a very good in depth interview. I suggest any Warrior fan to check it out. Episode 178

How desperate is Vince getting for ratings?
So far tonight we've had appearances by Stone Cold, The Undertaker and now Shawn Michaels. At least presenting UT makes sense since he's going against Lesnar in HITC this Sunday. But bringing all these other has-beens back just reeks of desperations. And my cable guide says Flair is also scheduled.
C'mon Vince, get out of the way already and let HHH take control. He can't be any worse.

My only possible addition to this thread is that last weekend the WWE was in town and when it was over there was a wreck outside of our Expo Center. While on-scene, I was standing with a police officer just watching him try to slow down the idiots zooming past our scene, when the WWE tour bus came by and we saw John Cena (?) sitting there. He looked gigantic even inside a bus.

Especially after the bruhaha about how racist towards Mexicans WWE is. Guess money and a lighter schedule are worth the prejudice.

Wold have rather seen Samoa Joe take the open challenge then the title from Cena. Cena is scheduled for some time off. I admit Del Rio was a surprise but would rather have seen it go to someone else. Now all 3 titles are on heels.

I haven't watched much of it but I hear NXT is awesome and Triple H runs that, so if hes doing a good job with that I'm sure he'd do good with the main shows.

I read earlier yesturday that Daniel Brian was given the ok from doctors and he was on his way to the show but apparently it wasn't for the US Title haha. I wasn't watching wrestling when Alberto was in it his first go around. I saw bits and pieces here and there but I just couldn't watch it. Then I got my wife watching Summer Slam and she got hooked so now were watching all the time. So I'm interested to see what the big deal was with Alberto.
I really can't believe the Dudleys didn't win the belts. I guess in a way they are pushing new talent but come on just at least give them the belts for a little while, and what the hell was that move D-Von did? haha totally messed up there!

The general consensus is that the Dudleys should win at a major PPV instead of a throw away one. Probably Survivor Series.

Plus The New Day is a hot commodity right now.
Nearly everyone agrees that Xavier Woods' schtick is gold (ie, asses in the seats) so if creative is going to take the titles off New Day it has to be when he's there. Contrary to storylines, Woods isn't really injured, he's off getting married. Which if you ask me is worse than getting injured...but that's for a different thread...

The thing that surprised me when I read the HitC results was that both Lesnar and UT bled.
Really? Blading in a WWE PPV???? Is HHH finally getting his way? I've read several dirt sheets saying Triple H wants to get back to more of that. If so, it's about friggin' time! Hell In A Cell with no blood is actually "Mild Purgatory Within An Uncomfortable Enclosure".

Apparently, Vince was highly pissed about it. Nobody in an official capacity knew it was going to happen (many claim it wasn't blading and it was done the hard way). Personally, I thought it was about time we had blood in a Hell In A Cell match. Blood is not needed as often as it was years ago but having gimmick matches like HiaC where nobody gets hurt worse than in a regular match is pointless.

Precisely. I don't necessarily want to see blood on every TV show but when you have events like Hell In A Cell and Tables/Ladders/Chairs, not having any blood really diffuses the "willing suspension of disbelief" most wrestling fans have.
Wanna remember what a truly great Hell In the Cell match looks like? Go back and watch Undertaker vs Cactus Jack/Mankind. That thing was truly hell in a cell.
