Probably a no-brainer, but what is your fav Jamie St James project? I love everything he has ever sung on, personally.

Without a doubt it's Black 'N Blue.

I liked Black N Blue, and Jaime's lone album with Warrant may not have been a classic, but he didn't sh*t the bed either.
Never heard St James or Freight Train Jane.

Man, I still remember seeing KISS - BlacknBlue opens - It was in the winter - Wicked Bitch, Chains around Heaven, Without Love - It was my only time seeing them live - and they were great - but St. James was the power player - for sure - bought their LP's - Tougher than RATT or DOKKEN - unique sound/production too - He reminds me of Dee Snyder's younger brother - The cd has a photo of him brown haired - bleacher !

I went with Black N Blue cuz I only have their stuff with him. I have read a few positive reviews of his solo album though.

The Black N Blue material is classic and I assumed most would vote for that, so I voted Freight Train Jane. I think that's a great album. Really interesting songs and always an entertaining listen.
I find his solo St. James album atrocious. Not one songs stands out.
I don't care for the Warrant album either. Some of the songs are ok, but the production makes it sound pretty lame to my ears.

I've gotta check into more of that Freight Train Jane. I like the sound. Probably hard to find no doubt.

I went with BNB also, but I do like his Warrant stuff. I had never heard of FTJ and didn't know about the St. James album either. The FTJ clip posted here sounds pretty cool, but not essential to me. Same with the St. James album, but for that one, I almost give it leeway, considering it was 2003. The landscape was uncertain at that time, and most older rockers were still trying to sound modern with whatever they did (Crue's Saints of Los Angeles was when I first noticed older dudes trying to return to the older style on a large scale) and then the younger "glam" bands were more like pop punk bands singing about drugs whilst sporting glammy hair and makeup that was equal parts Nitro and goth.
So, yeah.

In all fairness, I haven't heard anything outside of Black 'N Blue, but I'm guessing it wouldn't change my vote.
