| Reading the Movies thread, I got curious about who you people think portrayed Bond the best. I say Roger Moore. | |

| Love the Bond flicks... I like all of the actors who've played him to one degree or another (even Lazenby!) but my fave would be a toss up between Connery and Pierce Brosnan. I have yet to see either of Daniel Craig's Bond films though. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

They're both on my ever-growing list of "Stuff I Wanna See" but I rarely, if ever, have time to watch movies nowadays so Lord only knows when I'll get to them... hell, I had Brosnan's last Bond movie "Die Another Day" on DVD, still in the shrink wrap, for about two years before I finally had time to take it off the shelf and watch it!! _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Sean Connery.
I also enjoy Daniel Craig's take. I grew up watching the Moore films and they are still great fun, but his comedy-intensive delivery eventually wore out it's welcome. |

| Connery. The original and the best. Roger Moore was a foppish dandy that wore women's panties under his tux. And the stories/gadgets started getting too over-the-top during the Moore-era. Never saw the rest of the guys. Saw a little bit of the 1st Daniel Craig movie. Ok, but I'm not firing up the dragster and speeding off to Blockbuster anytime soon. My dad was a huge fan and we used to watch the Connery movies whenever they came on tv when I was a kid. Unfortunatley, since the Austin Powers movies, I have a hard time watching any of them. They all seem kinda silly now. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| Pierce Brosnan was Bond when I was a little kid, You could say. And now Daniel Craig is the new Bond, and I'm still a young lad.
However, I still think Connery takes the cake for the best Bond ever. The original is always best. | |

| Followed this series growing up and completely lost interest with Dalton and especially Brosnan. Craig along with the new director and new harsh/rough theme got me excited about 007 again. I think Craig is the best actor of all of them. Connery was good of course...my favorite is Craig. IMHO, this series should have ditched the silly banter after Connery left long ago. | |

| That guy that was only in one.......what, nobody likes George Lazenby? Of course Connery, he's the man. Craig is signed up for 3 more movies. Dalton was not right for the role, although License to Kill brings back such childhood memories. Moore was bland..and Brosnan was not convincing. | |

| Bond question. What's the consensus on Daniel Craig as Bond? I was in the supermarket earlier today and saw the 2-disc special edition DVD of his first Bond flick, "Casino Royale," in the bargain bin for $5.99. Didn't have the $$ to pick it up at the time but I'm considering going back to snag it. I haven't seen either of his turns as JB yet and I'm wondering if it's worth seeing. The fact that it is in the bargain bin doesn't exactly translate to a vote of confidence IMO. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"
