What a great poll ! What I voted on was the surprise of energy and quickness - of the release. WASP - I was shocked at how wild and loud the songs were - B.A.D - School Daze - L.O.V.E Machine - Tormentor - Sleeping in Fire - I even remember the metal kid's name. Mike, who brought it over - he said - Glower, let's listen to this - I was prepared to be unimpressed - I was surprised - intrigued - a cassette, mind you - 1983-84 ? Anyways, I eventually saw the video - and it all came together - and exploded ! Never saw them in concert - sadly - during those years - The metal magazines - and their photos - over the top !

I went with Motley. Their first two albums are very good.

I went with WASP. I didn't really hear Motley Crue or Ratt until their second releases.

This is such a pathetically easy poll -- W.A.S.P. wins by a landslide. Their self-titled album is as killer as it gets.

They were the first one I heard from that grouping. WASP would be a close second. Never heard or owned the Ratt ep or QR's Metal Health.
