Green Death

Anyone ever heard of this band? Locky turned me onto them a few years ago. They have a new album out called Manufacturing Evil, and it's quite excellent. Easily their best yet. Their last album and two EPs before it are mostly thrash albums, while this new one is much more diverse. Still thrash at it's core, but it dips into traditional heavy metal a bit more than past albums, plus death metal ("Demons") and even a little doom metal ("Devil's Night").

Check them out, though. Fantastic band.

Just looked up the album. It's barely at 28 minutes with two tracks at about a minute each out of nine total. Not necessarily a bad thing if the while 28 minutes kicks ass, just surprised it can be that short and still be considered a full-length album. I liked these songs.

Yeah, I've never understood this either. Six songs at 30 minutes is an EP, but 9 at 30 minutes is a full-length. Sometimes. And then there are some bands, like funeral doom bands or whatever, that'll release a 2-track EP and it's 75 minutes long. I don't get it.

So I just go by whatever the band says it is. My OCD would cause my head to explode if I gave it much thought beyond that. Haha.

Wow!  Really good stuff!  Gonna have to track these down.

My band opened for them last year. Really cool bunch of guys.

The band name kind of sounds like a joke but that music is certainly no joke. Good stuff !

"Gates of Hell" is a fantastic song.

We used to call the beer, Special Export [Spec Blech], "Green Death".  Wonder if any correlation?

I'll have to check this out when I get home.
