Back in 2002, I remember there was a big fight between the Hells Angels and the Mongols in Laughlin, Nevada.

I found that there is a Hell's Angels charter here in Nevada. I can't say that, because of my philosophical and moral views, that I can totally slag them. There are some instances where I too would defy the establishment if it compromised what I believe in. In theory, there isn't much difference between them and these so-called Human Rights and Equality groups teaching political correctness to such an extent that if followed to a tee would only lead back to the dissentions which it is trying to avert. There is only a difference in conviction and the fact that, regardless of whether the laws or powers that be try to suppress it, humans inherently have the will to resist. Thus the idea of there being an ever-present division is not only inevitable but necessary to develop our place in the human struggle for the same reason that Microsoft or other mega corporations shouldn't have a monopoly on their respective market so that certain developments or ideas can't evolve and improve. These principles are applicable to pretty much all parties, i.e., religions, philosophies, etc. so atheists and christians alike understand that their values are always being threatened in some form or another when someone tells them to continue labeling themselves as the adherent to some religion as long as they don't really practice what they preach. This is the same case with fundamental islam and explains why these dissentions in the world are a necessary evil. We need to learn to accept that their opposition is in some sense, complimentary. Since free will is indetermined (provided you accept it to begin with) then humans will exhibit irrational behavior such as chauvinistic adherence to unreasoned views. It is somewhat fatalistic that we may suffer consequences from those who act on this, regardless of how deeply founded we think we are on reason. So in the end reason is not foolproof towards our physical well being when you have political conflict. It eventually justifies aggression and conflict by us on our behalf at some point in our lives. Lastly, I was reading the Imitation of Christ:

Do Christians have the promise of eternal life? Yes. But of earthly life? Not so much. This optimistic prosperity filth that permeates most modern Christianity is keeping people from being aware of this. We all get involved in it at some time, so I am not entirely immune to it myself.

In the end, I would probably love to have a civil conversation with a Hell's Angel, especially a head member. I am more book smart than street smart because of my Asperger's Syndrome, so I could never have joined (and am too Christian for that anyway) but I would probably discuss some fundamental truths with them and how they view this in relation to the world. Either that, or they may end up being like most LaVeyan Satanists that I've talked to, trying to sound more badass in their publications than the followers actually tend to be in real life.
