Aaron Hernandez convicted of first degree murder

Not that I jumped up and down for joy, BUT, I'm very happy to see him behind bars. I didn't follow the trial to a great extent, but I followed it enough to feel this guy was guilty. I was a little worried when I saw that the jury was in day seven of deliberation, which might suggest that there was going to be a hung jury. There are things with Aaron which were pretty sketchy going back to his days when he was at Florida.

Some people will never learn. The problem with Aaron Hernandez is this, I don't think it matters how many good people he surrounded himself with in life. He ultimately enjoyed hanging around those who were only going to bring him down. I really have no sympathy for him. Even though he worked hard to get where he was, he was given a God given ability that not many of us have, which was the proper skill set to play football and the frame to play that game. Enjoy prison Aaron...

i was not surprised. It seemed like he was guilty.

He would've been a good match for Jodie Arias.

I heard that him and Tebow - in college - were actually room-mates.
Anyone with a violent temper and huge ego and millions of dollars -
hot gal, drinking, and a gun - trouble.
I watched a game when Hernadez caught a football -
Ravens tackled him by the opposing team's sidelines....
some Raven player said something bad to Hernadez...couldn't hear it -
but Hernadez says out loud, " I f*** your mother ! "
as he turns and casually jogs back to the huddle -
I heard it over the TV - clear as day - I was like ' wow '

Sounds like the new O.J. Simpson.

And now he's dead.

I don't feel sorry for him at all. I feel sorry for his daughter and the families he helped destroy.

I really don't even care if the conspiracy theorists are right and he had "help" in committing suicide.  Cry me a river.  One dead thug who had a chance to really make something out of his life but chose to continue being a thug.  So wah, he's dead.  Saved the taxpayers a ton of money.


But you're right, I do feel sympathy for his family and especially for the families he ruined.

I was saddened. I'm obviously from the region. He fought with prisoners - vice versa - in jail.
Only 27. Tattooed everywhere. Then hearing that he wrote, on his forehead, John 3:16.
I heard his girlfriend gets the estate...people can't sue him now for it...many conspiracy theories too.
He hung out with tough people..,maybe killed another tough guy...whatever....
But his contract was for 40 million....and his ego/ temper took it away one night.
When he was found innocent....I guess he cried, hugged his lawyer...
Patriots, next day, were at White House....except Tom Brady ?
Said a prayer for Aaron's poor soul....
super sad for this lifelong Pats fan when to first hear about.

He was found innocent of two murders but he was convicted of the murder Odin Lloyd.  The guy was a hoodlum thug who had a chance to leave that life, a chance few get, and he threw it away.

Wow...I just noticed my two post same day and month, but two years apart.

I read that it was speculated that he killed that guy because he discovered he was bi-sexual and Hernandez was trying to keep that a secret dont know how much truth is in that.
