There's no mention of Kerry King's day job.

He raises snakes and sells them online, like Derrick Roddy does.

A friend of mine said that the members of Slayer individually make about $100,000 a year, so I think they're just fine, financially.

But I don't know if Kerry does that just for the money; I mean, no one accuses Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden being a pilot at times as being exclusively "for the money".

I've had a few jobs where I wasn't doing them exclusively for the money, they were still jobs.

Boy, I didn't realize that was a video and not just a stupid photo. First, what an OBNOXIOUS turd! Jesus. Three seconds is all I could take before I wanted to smack the smarmy, ignorant prick in his face.

TLC might have had some hits, broke records, and sold millions of albums, but it is widely known that they had one of the a shittiest record contracts in the history of music, where not only the bulk of the money went to executives and such, but the band had to pay for every single expense out of pocket. Pretty sure they never made—or made little—more than the average McDonald's worker's annual income. One of the most famous groups of all time, and they made next to nothing.

Someone explain that to the dildo who recorded the video.

I read the comments section and someone explained that to him in the comments section. Although I also read that shortly after the video got made, TLC also managed to get enough funds raised from their fans, friends, and the industry to help them make the album they want to make.

I bet the amount these bands make goes down every year.

So I bet part of the reason they make the financial decisions that they do is out of fear of the future.

The money is all in the merch and live shows. As long as people keep buying the $30 shirts and pay the expensive ticket prices, they will probably do better than you think. Lombardo wanted to regulate and keep watch over the money to make sure everyone got the proper amount. If what he was saying is right, all of the guys could be making more than they do, but someone in their management is taking a good amount of the earnings.

I just think these long-running metal bands are losing more fans than they're gaining as years go by.

After Super Collider, .... I'm not so sure, ... I still hear echoes of how heavy and great that album was meant to be. Laughing

lol! Laughing very hard

I will admit I did actually pre-order one of the autographed cds. I guess I really didn't have to since I have 2 Megadeth albums autographed but none with Jr. so this will be the first one with his autograph. I paid regular prices for the other ones. Little stupid for it to be $50 but the chances of me meeting them or even going to a concert is extremely slim so why not. Unless I wait til they are 80 years old and are at some convention and want $50 each for an autograph of all previous members lol.
