R.I.P. I was always more of a "Star Wars" kid than a "Trek" kid but you can't deny the guy's iconic position in sci-fi history.
Plus, he was on "The Simpsons" a couple of times and that automatically makes him cool in my book.
Nimoy: "I'd say this vessel can do at least Warp Five." Quimby: "And I'd just like to say... May the Force Be With You!" Nimoy: "Do you even know who I am?" Quimby: "I think so. Weren't you one of the Little Rascals?"

Oh yeah, "In Search Of..." was great. I probably knew him from that show when I was a kid before I even knew what "Star Trek" was.

I was and am a huge fan of Star Trek, and I am very saddened by his death. Live long and prosper.

He was a very good actor. He played the character of Spock so well, it seemed almost real.

I wasn't aware of all the other things he did. He published books of poems, children's books and books of his photography in addition to acting and directing. Talented individual for sure.

I just read that Nimoy also directed "Three Men And A Baby". I had no idea.

Yes, I believe this was the last thing he worked on (not counting the ST reboot). JJ was able to get him out of retirement to work on Fringe.... One of my favorite shows and then when he appeared on it, it made it that much cooler.
One that was really cool is when that Nimoy wasn't available, he did a voice over:

Thanks for everything, Leonard!
I just watched all the Nimoy-era Star Trek movies last year with my wife. And he's also the narrator in the one video game we most play together - Civilization 4.

I cannot believe it . This is really affecting me. He was so great as Spock, one for the ages! I am getting old, losing so many of my inspirations. R.I.P. Leonard - you will never be forgotten.
