I bought 'French Kiss' - when it first came out - and I still listen to the CD today - Always love his relaxed voice and casual guitar playing - spacy songs someone mentioned he ran into drugs / booze problems - perhaps because he left Fleetwood Mac - before they zoomed off into fame !

I believe I only know 2 songs of his - Ebony Eyes and Sentimental Lady. I like them both,reminds me a bit of my childhood.
And doing quick internet serch,discovered he was a member of Fleetwood Mac. I had no idea.

Thanks, going to check out more Bob Welch material. That song is really good. Have a Fleetwood Mac comp with pre-1975 material, probably some on there I hope.

I know that I have his first solo album, not sure about the others. Love the song Hypnotized from his time in The Mac.

He had a band called Paris in between F Mac and his solo era. The Paris s/t album was one of the loudest out there in 1973. Dark and Zeppelin-ish. I liked that album a lot. Second album Big Towne wasn't so good though.
