I'm sure most of you know him as the guitarist who left Korn for Jesus. Anyone going to buy his new album?

Nah. I don't like Korn, so I can't imagine being even slighty interested in hearing this.

On a similiar note, given his recent conversion to Christianity, do you think that religious people will by this, regardless of the music, just to show support? And on the flip side, will Korn fans support this release, even with religious overtones?

I think there are those that buy anything if it says it has to deal with Christianity to "support the scene". I'd be interested in seeing if Korn fans will buy it. Wait, I really don't care.

I'm definitely not even going to hear it. This guy is a joke.

Not me. Just listening to him talk now irks me, and this album is pretty much guaranteed to have some really cheesy lyrics.

As for me, I might have bought it if he released two years ago when he was suppose to. But now, I really don't think I'm as interested since it took so long.

Not a fan of Korn. Wish him well though. He took a bold step for his faith and for that I can respect him.

I have never owned a Korn album, and I am pretty sure that I won't purchase this either.

It;s great about him discovering his faith, but I'm not a fan of Korn at all so I won't be picking this up.

Hate Korn, will never listen to this brian welch, but kudos to him for making music he likes for a far better reason.

Why does it seem like everyone expects this to sound like Korn?

Are there sound samples posted somewhere?

Once he left Korn, he said he'd release an album soon there after. But with all of the delays, I kinda lost interest.

Why do you think it would sound otherwise? Do you think he was gonna branch out into an entirely new direction? His myspace page has a song on there and while I'm no Korn afficianado, I'd say it's very similiar to their sound.

I don't know. I actually expected it to be a bit fruity, to go along with the new "eyes to the stars" way he talks.

I dig it, though. Didn't expect that. I do like Korn, in moderation, so I guess it's not so surprising.
