Heh, but I never even knew this existed until reading your post. Do you know/have you checked to determine if these songs were all recorded at once, or a collection of covers he's recorded over the past decades?

Most of the songs were recorded around the same time and were part of The Prince of Darkness box set. I think it was Disc 3 of a 4-disc set. A few years later, the same album was released as a single disc with 4 new songs tacked on that were not in the box set. Jerry Cantrell from Alice in Chains does most of the guitar work. Zakk Wylde doesn't play on any of them to my knowledge.

I played it through once this morning on the ride into work. It's ok I guess. I've read a few reviews that likened it to Ozzy signing karaoke. I can see that. They switched-up some of the arrangements on the tunes, but nothing really out-standing. It's nothing essential. I enjoy cover albums, but for whatever reason, I held off on buying it for a long time. When I saw it for .97 cents, however, I couldn't resist.

It's four re-recordings: two from Destroy the Machines (why, I don't know) and two previously unreleased tracks from their 1993 demo (this makes much more sense).
