The Ghost of a Sabre Tooth Tiger

The super rich son of two of the most iconic figures of the 20th century and his model girlfriend make a record together. Let's be honest, it doesn't sound all that promising does it? But as it turns out, it is promising, in fact it's brilliant! Sean Lennon finally shows that he is a force to be reckoned with in his own right with TGOASTT's latest 'Midnight Sun'

The snipers will point out that Sean's brand of melodic '60s pop psyche is hardly groundbreaking and say that it's just him cashing in on his dad's name, but in reality I think a lot of this record leans towards other artists a lot more than The Beatles and secondly





I've only just caught up with this record but It's already catapulted itself into my top ten for this year for sure!

That name just may beat The Teardrop Explodes for most awesome band name. "The Ghost of a Sabre Tooth Tiger." Ooooooooooooooo. I'm being serious, that really is awesome.

I've always enjoyed Sean's voice and music. You hit the nail on the head, not groundbreaking yet very very pleasant to absorb. This is even better!

Hate to admit it, but that's not half bad. In the right mood, I would listen to this.
