So...these guys aren't a horrible death/black metal/grindcore band like nearly every other band with "goat" in their name?



Or is this just a newer style? This tune is badass!

Don't forget about the mighty Goatsnake, one of the best stoner metal bands.

Goatsnake! I was just trying to remember their name, and all I could envision was the album cover for Goatsnake Vol 1. Who wouldn't remember a Viking ship flying the Stars-n-Bars while a biker on a chopper rides by? I never bought the album back in the day, but I guess I'll have to remedy this.

Goatwhore are awesome! Don't forget Sammy, he did Acid Bath, another great band!

Their second album "Flower Of Disease" would make my top 10 stoner metal albums of all-time.

Not bad. But their name is awefully ugly.

Always thought they were decent but never delved into them deeply myself.

A friend of mine saw Goatwhore play the other night, the sounded like a well tuned bulldozer (in a good way).

I found their latest online for $5. Hasn't arrived yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
