| It's insane! I predict it to be the year's best (second to Exodus)
Favorite songs thus far:
Poltergeist Rain of Ruin Flesh for Flies Blood Bath
You'll definitely get your money's worth.

| I do not have any albums by them but I am constantly on the lookout for their CDs. They are really good IMHO - and I may special order the new one.

| Good music, but I'm not into the vocals. | |

I came upon one totally by accident (Vs. The Earth). I could tell by the cover and the year of release what to expect (extreme thrash bordering on death). I also knew by the reissue label that it would be worth the investment (Metal Mind-they do well with those IMO). Actually started a thread about it: http://www.heartofmetal.net/t19975-rigor-mortis-vs-the-earth They are also Texas boys from my neck of the woods! Though I'm sure that last fact would turn Uncle Sax off from them .

| This quote in youtube comments made me giggle (the part in bold):
"Lyrics and vocals are just awful and embarrassing. Guitar solo sounds like some dude just picking high notes as fast as he can. This is a disgrace to metal seriously how can anyone like this or anyone playing it actually think it sounds good?"
Does this guy even know what thrash metal is? If you find the music terrible (like corplhicks-and I must admit, the youtube stuff I hear is a bit mediocre) it's one thing, but fast, high note solos are a staple in thrash (sure some are more sloppy than others, but there's room for both). As for terrible lyrics, extreme metal is abound in them. Rigor Mortis is not alone in that department.
