Best of The Year - so far

So the year is 3/4 over and most of the really big releases have hit the streets. At this point what is your best album of the year?

I can't really choose one.

-Battle Ruins LP
-Bruce Springsteen- High Hopes
-The Boys- Punk Rock Menopause

New Kix or Mr Big

1. Exodus- Blood In, Blood Out
2. Rigor Mortis- Slaves to the Grave
3. Oozing Wound- Earth Suck
4. Deathhammer- Evil Power
5. Body Count- Manslaughter
6. Vader- Tibi Et Igni
7. Hatriot- Dawn of the New Centurion

If Toxik stops touring for 5 seconds and puts out their long awaited follow-up to "Think This," I'm sure that will take the #1 spot easily.

For me right now it's Overkill - White Devil Armory.

I think it's the best of the big 3 summer releases - the other 2 being Judas Priest and Accept.

I had no idea that that they were considering putting out anything new. I figured they were just getting their feet wet after the long disbandment. A new Dark Angel album will be something else though...

I've only bought four 2014 releases (Overkill, Kix, Accept and Body Count), and three of those were just purchased this past week, so it's kind of hard to pick a favorite at this point... things are still "gellin'."

If you put a gun to my head and forced me to choose RIGHT NOW though, I'd probably give it to Accept.

Steel Panther - All You Can Eat

Best of the year so far for me is Divahar's Divarise.

My top 3 contenders for the coveted #1 spot are Ace Frehley, Judas Priest and Kix. They have all been very satisfying listens. Right now, Ace is in the lead.

Triptykon, Arch Enemy, Iced Earth, KXM...but Opeth has already got album of the year from me. I'm so hooked on it.

Otherwise this has been a pretty underwhelming year for music in general.

Overkill,Exodus,And I'm sure the new Sanctuary will be in my top 5.
