| I didn't really care for Ian Gillian when he joined up withj Sabbath - Someone said when Sabbath played " Smoke On The Water " - the stadium errupted - His Deep Purple / Blackmore songs are quite good - But David Coverdale is way cooler - WHITESNAKE should have been huge - Songs like " Children Of The Night " - " Love Aint No Stranger " - forget it ! " Still Of The Night " - " Fool For Your Lovin' " - " Slow And Easy " - Him and Jimmy Page even tried jamming out in a band ! | |

| I picked Coverdale - his voice is pure class. However, the other two are beyond excellent. | |

| I thought that you were meaning Deep Purple singers. In that case, you missed Rod Evans.
I vote Ian Gillan! | |

| David Coverdale, I really respect Ian Gillan but I prefer DC's voice. And yes Whitesnake should have been huge (before they went all glam) - chewie wrote:

and Glen Hughes. | |

| I had to go with Coverdale. Gillan is great, but Coverdale is just in a league by himself. | |

| Joe Lynn Turner was great on Malmsteen's CD - " Rising Force " Dejevu - Crystal Ball -Heaven Tonight - wish I had seen that concert - He was a very good looking dude too - but it didn't help any of the bands he was in - and " Straight Between The Eyes " CD with Rainbow / Blackmore was good too - " Stone Cold " is CLASSIC - an incredible love gone wrong song - his hugest hit ever !!! I saw a bio on youtube - interview - he partied AT LEAST a million dollars away... that's damn impresive too, in my book. | |

I recently picked up two of Sunstorm's releases. I also ordered odyssey from amazon. hope it is good. | |
