| I've been cranking, in my car, 'Smashed Glady's ' ( Social Intercourse CD ) the last few days - The funny thing was, at a city intersection, some lady was cutting me off, inch by inch, traffic, I lowered my volume because I could hear her radio was even Louder - what was she listening to - She was cranking ' Summer Breeze' by Seals and Crofts ??? At another much busier set of lights, 3 lanes, buses and trucks - the car next to me, the male driver rolled up his windows - the lady passenger looked over at him - and quickly looked forward again - lol - one guy was blasting a sports radio talk show -Red Sox talk ! | |

| Oddly for me the one album would be the first pressing of Rust in Peace. I have to revisit it often. Although I would think it to be Peace Sells, since that's my favorite Deth album, but maybe it's just because I wore that one down throughout time.
Other mentions are Unleashed in the East, Uriah Heep's Sailsbury, Deep Purple's Made in Japan, and Iron Maiden's Number of the Beast. These never get old. Oh and Fear Not.

| Cool records you named guys. I like to play them too. I am going to name some more resent records because i dont like to life on the past only: HELLOWEEN:GAMBLING WITH THE DEVIL from 2007 and a lot better than other 00s records like RABBIT DONT COME EASY or KEEPER OF THE SEVEN KEYS 3. Other underrated 2007 records would be for me:CAUGHT IN THE ACT by STORMZONE, AS OUR ARMY CROWS by INTENSE, LUCHANDO A MUERTE by HUMA, THIS IS THIRTEEN by ANVIL, LIBRE by AZRAEL, BLOOD OF THE WARRIORS by BEZERKER, GOOHAN by WIZARD, or WAR OF THE EIGHT SAINT de STEEL ASSASSIN. ENFORCER:DIAMONDS SAXON:CALL FOR ARMS IRON CURTAIN:JAGUAR SPIRIT

| 2112 is probably THE Desert Isle album for me. If I could only take one it would probably be that one.

I do need to spin helloween's GWTD again. one of their finest hours. Yes, i am spinning it right now and its really a amazing records. Underrated in my opinión because a lot of people never talk about this álbum and its much better then their last two albums. Great songs on it. Its not less then albums like BETTER THAN RAW or THE TIME OF THE OATH.

| Very few albums are like that for me. The albums I like best I usually only play all the way through once per year; that is, unless I am really on a "kick" for a particular band.
One that does fit the bill for me though is Worlds Collide by Unruly Child. It only came out a few years ago but has since become one of my favorite albums of all time.

| Sometimes I just love to crank up Flick Of The Switch! The cassette that I bought oh, those many years ago.
corplhicks, I was cranking Rust In Peace a week or so ago.
When I'm driving the mini van I dig through my cassettes and pop 'em in!

There's just something about cranking that one up loud (again, the original pressing) and allowing it to dominate you. I can't explain it. Peace Sells is a much stronger album for me, but RIP gets more spins.

| There are too many significant albums to mention, and I don't really do list-only posts. I just happen to spin lots of Riot, Mercyful Fate, Attacker, Manilla Road, Fates Warning, Cloven Hoof, Sodom, and Judas Priest albums. Most of their albums fail to sound dated. |
