| I loved it. The hype was a little overboard, but the movie ruled. | |

| I had no clue what this was about though I did look it up after getting introduced to the Collector after the second Thor movie. Wasn't sure if I would care until I saw the first preview. I knew I had to see it. I think what really drew me in was the character Rocket Raccoon. I'm into anthro (furry) art and that character fits into that subject matter. No surprise he turned out to be my favorite characters. This is what I said in the now watching thread: Finally saw Guardians Of The Galaxy. Loved it! My favorite characters were Rocket and Groot, both stole the show. Fun movie that introduced me to Marvel characters I wasn't familiar with. Also loved the scene at the end of the credits: - Spoiler:
Howard the 'Fn Duck!
The only other people that stayed for that were two guys in their late teens early 20s. Poor kids probably had no clue, "We stayed after the credits for that! How stupid!"

| I saw it an old school single screen movie theater a few weeks back. (small town NE Montana) The theater was built in the 1920's and still had that cool original art-deco architecture design. Free popcorn and the ticket lady said I could bring in my own beverage as long as it wasn't glass container. _________________ | |

You got me with the free popcorn. Love movie style popcorn ! Much better before they got rid of coconut oil. It's still good (only if you drench it in butter) but not what it used to be. Then again, what food is these days?

Dang. I should see if I can find my copy. Well, I dug through my old comics and whaddya know? Turns out I actually have issues 1 & 2 of that 4-issue set. So I did what any collector would do. I put them up on ebay. Hope the summer madness hasn't cooled completely. I wish they'd sell for millions and I can finally elevate my social status where I don't have to slum around internet message boards anymore. http://www.ebay.com/itm/201182565839?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649 _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was.
