I saw that Tommy Ramone died today. It may sound strange, but I did.....I smiled...... All four of them were that beloved to me - Musically, I thought the drums on that first lp - was just as punk as Johnny's guitar. I think Joey originally was supposed to play the drums ? You really do sense how hugely underated they were - with time. I have read a few books about them - obviously - and cant recall anything really bad said about Tommy - I never thought the Beatles would outlive the Ramones
