Just like Scott, I´m someone who can´t get enough of Thrash Metal. I´m currently starting to get bands from the NWOTM ( starting with Violator and Municipal Waste ) , but what I´d like to discuss on this topic would be very underrated THRASH ( or maybe Speed Thrash ) bands from the 80´s.
Thrash is actually not my favorite style of metal ( my favourites are raw power metal ala Running Wild and traditional heavy metal ) but it´s the style I listen most of the time.
There are great Thrash bands from U.K. that appeared on the late 80´s / early 90´s that are really underground like Deathwish , Toranaga , Acid Reign , Cerebral Fix that are all great.

If you are not already aware, here is a good site that reviews thrash releases ranging from extremely unknown to Slayer, with everything in between.

We've had this conversation too many times and have too many thrash nerds to pull up surprises
But Darkness should have been a lot bigger
and at least one guy agrees with me

Overthrow - Within Suffering
It was a 1990 album, but it's worth checking out.

I've said it before (in a couple of those above threads, of course), and I'll say it again--Cyclone, Cyclone, CYCLONE.

I've read that Cyclone is a very difficult cd to obtain, very expensive or tons of bootlegs floating around out there.

I actually got my CD straight from the vocalist, Guido, about 4 years ago for $60. It usually sells for stupid amounts on eBay.

Yeah what SSD said. And almost always those eBay deals end up being boots anyway. Apparently there was a very limited vinyl pressing as well. My CD is sadly a boot; I got ripped off like you did SF. Still an insane set.

I've got to admit that the two Cyclone records were rare cases of me going down the shady download route.
At this point, if the band want to get paid for it, they can sort out a re-release because I'm not paying crazy money for a rip off.

RF, I really dig Overthrow, great album.
The reviews at http://classicthrash.com/ ., they are about the funniest damn reviews I've ever read. I've found some great bands on the site.
As everyone else above has said, browse the forum, there is so much thrash listed, that a person couldn't possibly get it all, without selling a few kidney's and a lemonade stand or two.
