Anyone know of any decent hardcore bands worth getting into? The only hardcore act I really listen to and know a little bit of is Integrity.

Hardcore is a term that has changed meaning over the years but this what I consider to be hardcore
Some will argue that the last one is crossover but there is absolutely no metal on that record.

If you like Integrity:
Though both have always played a more metal-meets-hardcore style. Why no one coined metalcore for these kinds of bands is beyond me. Anyway, here's a cut from one of my all-time favorite albums:
And they're still kicking ass. This is from their latest album from last year:
And here are some more obscure bands I really dig:
"Element." One of the best screams you'll ever hear.

The Strongarm recommendation is right on. Shai Hulud is another band that has a similar sound (both bands influenced each other and played together quite a bit back in the 90s)
Here's my favorite song from Strongarm's second album (different vocalist):

Listening to a lot of these right now. Lots I like, others I'm impartial to, but overall, I really like everything I hear. I don't flat-out dislike anything on the list so far. Thanks! \m/

Right now is the most interesting time for hardcore since the mid 90's I would say. Some really interesting bands have been coming up the last few years like Dead end path, Agitator, Trapped under ice etc. Heres some of my favorates..
