| You purchased an CD/cassette/vinyl and it was 100% silent or void of material? I purchased Malice - License to Kill on cassette from the used music/movies/video games store one day. When I got home, I put it on, and all I heard was silence. I fast forwarded parts of it. Nothing. I turned up the volume. Nothing. | |

| Nope. Never happened.
Robert, Ultimatum's guitarist, runs the music department of a large Christian store here in Albuquerque. One time some conservative Christian person bought a CD in his story by an old time gospel singer (forgot who it was now) and the music on the disc was actually S.O.D. LOL! Imagine their shock!
I've had times where I've had two covers inside some CD I purchased. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| back when i used to buy used cassettes, sometimes you'd get a blank one. but that was where someone would take the actual tape out of its plastic shell & switch it with a blank one so they could sell the cassette & still keep the original.
never had that happen with anything new. _________________

| One of the very first tapes I ever bought was "Hot Rocks" the Rolling Stones hits package. When I played it, it was backwards! I exchanged it, but I kinda wish I'd kept it now. Trippy! | |

| I once bought a cd titled Blood by a band called Red Sea. I bought it new and still sealed but it was totally blank. I returned it and got another copy that had the music on it. I hate to say it but the blank cd actually sounded better. Not a very good band to me obviously. | |

Now THAT'S funny! I read somewhere years ago that a similar mixup happened at a CD pressing plant and a bunch of CDs sent out to Christian radio stations (which were supposed to contain a syndicated radio program) actually had the Dead Kennedys album "Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables" on them.

My St. Anger punished me for buying it it had 2 cds and 2 dvds in it Cassette tapes are easily erased by exposure to a magnetic field so that is probably what happened. |

"PULL!" (BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM!) hey wow that sounds just like Lars playing drums on St. Anger only more professional! (Geez, the drums bothered me on that album sounded like a kid with a spoon banging on a pan and a garbage can). Yeh not only was St. Anger disappointing and essentially unlistenable but I just had to get 2 of each the CD and DVD. Double the crap! |
