The only Impellitteri album I've ever heard was "Pedal to the Metal," aaaaand...it pretty much sucked so I got rid of it.
Well, that was easy.

I have them all. The black album, Screaming Symphony, Wicked Maind and Answer to the Master would top my list.
Bottom of the list would be Pedal to the Metal, a weak attempt at nu-metal.

I like all of them, and I'm in the minority here when I say I love Pedal to the Metal. Love it!

I have like 4 albums of theirs, but aside from couple of songs, can't rank them at all. Probably Answer to the Master would be at the top.

1. Eye of the Hurricane
Aaaaannnd that's all folks. It's the only one I own. I used to have Pedal to the Metal, but I chucked it at some pigeons that were pooping on my deck.

Man, is Pedal To The Metal that bad ? I've never heard on note from it but the way it's getting bashed around here I'm not even sure I want to. It's been on my want list but haven't gotten around to it.

I honestly don't recall much of it, which is why I ditched it. It was very different from the classical-inspired power metal that the band was previously known for. He was trying to be all angry and relevant, which failed on both counts.
I don't remember it being unlistenable or anything like that, just something that didn't get much play from me and taking up valuable real estate on my cd shelves.

Weird...I love his Neo-Classical stuff...and I love Pedal to the Metal. I think some of his most electric/technical playing is on that one, even if the arrangements and delivery or more "nu" or modern metal.

no Rob, no Graham = no good.
I thought it was really really boring.

On your Impelliteri page you gave Pedal To The Medal a mostly positive review so i'm a little surprised.

I still plan on getting it eventually. I'm just looking for the right price.
I'm almost positive that the copy I traded in about 2 years ago is still in the bins at the little shop I frequent from time to time. Going rate is about $7, or $5 if you buy 3 or more.

This thread is gonna cost me money! I've been checking out the full albums on Youtube and, crap, the Graham Bonnet albums (especially System X) are amazing! Tell me more about this one called Graham, who I've not heard much from. Does he have any vocal credits on heavy or particularly melodic stuff that I'd like?
