Take two of your favorite bands that you would love to see on stage, or in the studio, and smash them together. What bands would they be and what would you call them?
Personally, I only bring this up because that has happened for me. I have been a lifelong King Kobra fan since they opened for Autograph on the Turn Up the Strike tour ['85?]. And, also a lifelong Paul Shortino fan [as a lot of you already know] after seeing Rough Cutt open for Dio that same year. When Shortino took over the vox in KK a few years ago, I pooped a little. They have now put out 2 STELLAR albums that I cannot stop playing.
So, I will go with 2 of my other favs, in the spirit of this thread:
I will smash Saxon with King's X. Biff singing with Ty? Hello. What will I call it? umm - Nothing clever coming to mind, so I will go with SAXING [lame, whatever].
Now you go.

If it included a time machine.....
The Oliva Brothers from Savatage and Dave, Jr, and Nick from Megadeth
band name Vic's Ballet
album or tour title.... "Countdown To The Gutter"

Skeletonwitch and Sonata Arctica? I'm not even sure those two bands at the same show would be appropriate

Eh, I already like my favorite bands as they are, can't split them, but let's try.
Steve Benito + Michael Jackson (Heir Apparent's keyboardist and composer) and Fifth Angel's axemen, Kendall Betchell and Ed Archer, and Ken Mary on drums. Add their bassist John Macko, or any bassist since it is bass. Name would be Fifth Angel's Reign, and music must be like this, with superior, face-melting guitarwork present on "Time Will Tell" by FA:

This is hard, my favourites are AC/DC - I love them as they are.
Then comes Iron Maiden, Judas Priest - I like them as they are too! And many of my other top interests are good as they are as well.
hmmmmmmm..... I give up ion this one.

MaidenTage!
Bruce Dickinson, Steve Harris, Chris Caffery, Adrian Smith, Jon Oliva and Nicko McBrain
Sounds like early Maiden mixed with early speed metal Savatage, with a little late proggy Maiden and some bombastic 90's Savatage type songs.
Fast old school scorchers:
Midas Trooper 24 Hrs to Midnight The Streets of the Beast One Wrathchild The Sanctuary is Calling
All-time classics:
Phantom of the Gutter Run to the Mountain King Where Sirens Dare Afraid to Shoot Hounds Morning Sun and Steel The Phantom in the Ruins Twisted Little Charlotte the Harlot
Their proggy epics:
Stranger in a Strange Blackjack Guillotine Brave New City Beneath the Surface Morphine Moonchild Powerslave of the Night
And the super sad power ballads: When the Wasted Years Are Gone Transylvania Don't Mean Nothing

A meeting that was scheduled to happen but Hendrix passed away a few weeks prior to the proposed recording session.
Jimi Hendrix + Miles Davis. They could have called themselves Bitches Axis.

The juxtaposition of Wino's thick guitar tone and Lemmy's punchy bass tone would make some heads spin.

In the Vio-lence documentary they mentioned plans to tour with Run - DMC. I would've loved that bill. But I wouldn't have minded Vio-Lence doing a mash up with my all time favorite rapper Rakim. They could be the The R-lence or Follow The Vio-Leader.
I really dug when Van Halen toured with Kool & The Gang. That blew my "me in 1984" mind. Kool Dave & The VH Gang.
