Favorite bands?

I'm sure there is another thread like this somewhere, but what the heck. Alright, here we go...

My current top 5 in order:

1.) Rush
Rush is the epitome of musical brilliance. The classic eras of Rush are just too good.
2.) Judas Priest
Without a doubt the best, and the original traditional metal band, Priest define metal with their riffs, vocals, and musicianship.
3.) Candlemass
The most recent discovery on this list, the fact that they can shoot up that quickly is a testament to their sheer musical quality.
4.) Stryper
The best glam metal band EVER. Just amazing music, SUPER catchy. and those vocals...
5.) Megadeth
Megadeth was the band that got me seriously into metal, and they are a great band. I just haven't really found much time to listen to them lately.

Primal Fear - great live band got to see them twice in 6 months.

BOC - great band from the 70's that are still playing live still today, saw them in 1976 OYFOOYK tour great show and recently 2 years ago still great.

Tommy Bolin - while not considered a band but rather solo and it is really to bad he died so young he had great potential.

Annihilator - have everything DaVe Waters has ever don, prefer the mid 90's era over anything but still love the band.

UFO - one band I wish I could see live but with MS on guitar very underated band that had some great music and still play live today.

Walter Trout - he is blues and all blues one of the best blues guitarists around gonna see him for the 4th time this coming July @ Fargo Blues Fest.

Firewind - this band has progressed some much from their 1st cd to their last Premonition. With Gus G at the helm on guitar the sky is the limit for this melodic power metal band.
