Yeah, I had no idea Black Bonzo was no more until last week, when I came across this band. Will definitely get the debut. =)

Man, I had to do some searching for this!!
But after hearing it, I had to have this little gem on vinyl! Managed to snag a second press dooomed.com copy. The vinyl release of this is extremely limited at present (50 gold die hards, 125 blue, 75 pink all with different coloured cover art!)
The gold & blue are long gone and I got the second to last pink copy. I am extremely happy!

Couple of new bands
Hagstone - Ancient Majestic
Pretty slick for a debut EP, got the CD for less that £5 inc delivery
Mist - Phobia
Cool female doom band from Slovenia. This demo is a free download on Bandcamp but I got the CD version for cheap.

How'd you manage a CD version? And is it a CDR?

They are selling them on Bandcamp. It doesn't say that it is a CDR it just says CD, but for £4 inc delivery it may well be.

what did you think of '77 - Maximum Rock N' Roll (w/Bonus Track)?
I thought it was kinda weak to be honest.

Same here. As far as AC/DC clones go I like the latest Sideburn a lot more.

Yeah, a little weak. No really great hooks or anything. Not bad, but if you're going to totally rip off AC/DC, you gotta have some great hooks.
