Do have the album of demos before this album, 1978? A little more raw a little more mellotron heavy, if memory recalls.
Think I will throw that on after The Pie.

I have a soft spot for that New England S/T thanks to the song "Don't Ever Want To Lose You" and my first serious crush.

Is that actually vinyl ? Never seen it before, totally kewl! Odd being Paul Stanley produced the debut and it not being as heavy or heavier than the demos.

No, It's a cd released in 1998, when they were releasing their catalogue on cd. I think Ipicked it up around 2003-4.

Purson - BBC Maida Vale session 02/12/13
Last minute session by Purson for the BBC featuring new songs Mr Howard, I Will Be Good and Wanted Man and a very different version of Tragic Catastrophy
Superb stuff and apparently the next record is written and they head into the studio in Feb!

At last years record store day I was able to get this at a discount. It was one of the smaller shops that didn't get the new releases, but always had a sale on their used stock that day. I picked up quite a few lps that I had been eyeing.
