Indulging another "guilty pleasure" band of mine:
If you listen to the bass lines in some of these songs, it must have been a bass player's dream to be in this band.

That's a band I wouldn't give the time of day to back then. I ended up getting this comp on cassette some time back and found it to be very enjoyable. Those songs are much better than what I had remembered.

These guys are British (or as some of you like to say 'Teabagging Limey Teapots' ) and are doing really well over here. I can't help thinking that it might be like selling ice to the Eskimos with you guys though. Much as I have been enjoying the recent retro scene, it is nice to hear a 70's influenced record with no Sabbath/late 60's garage/prog/fuzzed out psyche in it
