Lol now I need to figure out who Booker T is (Booker T Washington?  Wink )

Jones [Booker T and the "MG"s?  cryptic, I know].

Green Onions!!! Right??

One of a million, but, yeah. Probably their most famous. If memory serves, the Blues Brothers band was mostly made up of the MG's. That is how I got into them more deeply.

Correct, Steve Cropper (guitarist) and Donald "Duck" Dunn (bassist) were original members of the MG's. Willie "Too Big" Hall (drummer) was a session musician and also played on a later MG's album.

Since this is the official Metal Church thread I'll post this here. According to the band's Facebook, their US spots with Accept won't be happening. Seems Ronnie was admitted to the hospital and is undergoing surgery in the morning (or this morning for most of you). They weren't specific beyond that. Hope he's okay.

No updates but it looks like Raven is taking their place for the US "tour." Not sure why they're calling it that when there are only two us dates.
