I've already posted some comments on The Heart of Metal but I figure a small introduction is in order. I've been a metal fan for over fifteen years ever since I saw the music video for Enter Sandman. I am a vocalist but am not in a band (a problem because I don't have any metal friends) but hope one day my dream will come true. I could go a little into my history of metal but I will instead just give my top 20 bands. In order:Iron Maiden, Savatage, Dream Theater, Nightwish, Shadow Gallery, Kamelot, Symphony X, Iced Earth, Saviour Machine, Tourniquet, Helloween, Dio, Rhapsody, Hammerfall, Leave's Eyes, Metallica (pre-Load), Testament, Therion, Rob Rock, and Opeth (Keep in mind these are only 20 out of hundreds of various metal bands) I have been observing this forum for a while but was a little nervous about chiming in but after being able to talk to some fellow metal heads at a concert recently I forgot how much I love talking metal with others. I plan on trying to be a regular in this forum and rise above metal novice (because I am far from being that). | |
