Totally dig Armored Saint... saw 'em twice back in the day....
La Raza was solid Saint.... Raising Fear would be my favorite.... The reworked version of March of the Saint on Nod to the old School was pretty darn rockin....
The first album has several classics Mutiny on the World, Madhouse, MofThe Saint, Can u Deliver...
The remastered version of Delirious Nomad is stellar....

| New Saint coming in 2015... - Quote :
- Veteran Los Angeles metallers ARMORED SAINT have inked a new deal with Metal Blade Records for the release of the band's next studio album, due in 2015.
Regarding the progress of the songwriting sessions for ARMORED SAINT's next CD, Bush said: "We've been writing songs for about a year, a year and a couple months, maybe, and we're about ready to do drums.
"Everything's done a little differently these days, as far as recording-wise. But a lot of vocals have been already sung. And it's gonna be awesome."
He continued: "[Bassist] Joey [Vera] is gonna produce. He's just really coming into his own as far as a jack of all trades, and a master. He's awesome. He's a great writer. He's very, very meticulous in the way he does everything, and he gets the job done. He's written some great stuff. And we have an awesome camaraderie as far as writing together.
Bush added: "I'm proud of what we're doing, I think it's gonna be a cool record.
"We don't have a title yet, but it will come out next year, and then we'll do some shows."
ARMORED SAINT's new album will feature the following songs, among others:
* "Win Hands Down" * "Mess" * "Muscle Memory" * "An Exercise In Debauchery" * "In An Instant" * "Up Yours"
About the track "Up Yours", Bush said: "It's gonna be a great song. [It's got a] very big anthem-type vibe to it. It's not gonna sound anything like 'Can U Deliver' [from ARMORED SAINT's debut album, 1984's 'March Of The Saint'], but if there was a vibe that just kind of felt like that, it's this song. And it's cool. It's got a cool title and a fun chorus that you can sing along to." _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

I liked it well enough. I just spun it not that long ago and it still held up. Seemed it could've been a little heavier on the "metal" and less on the "hard rock", but an enjoyable album nonetheless. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | I'm like on a decade plus long streak of putting Symbol of Salvation in my shopping cart. It's always the same. "THIS TIME I'm gonna buy it.... yes... umm ...nah, maybe not right now." Tonight was the latest edition of this epic story. I saw the reissue, new and unused, for $7, and I said to myself "alright FINALLY I'm gonna pick this one up". Then a few moments later figured I have too many things in my cart... *click*.... I'll get you next time. When I have less new CDs to listen to (as if that's ever gonna happen!) One time I was for sure going to get it. But then I realised I get cheaper shipping if I remove just one more CD. I've also held it in my hand in a shop, but then put it back because I wasn't sure if I was gonna go straight home afterwards, and didn't want to have to carry it around. I've also never heard it, nor any other Armored Saint albums I know some tracks and John Bush obviously, but I'm kind of saving myself for when I finally do get the whole album. Just thought I'd share this with you guys

| Im fairly new to Armored Saint (a year or so ago). All of their albums I have are great, but you definitely need Symbol of Salvation. I spin it on average once a week or so and it just gets more awesome each time. You gotta get it! | |

| Always loved the Saint. To this day I have a vivid memory of listening to Symbol of Salvation on my Walkman in the back seat of my parent's car after we left the courthouse after my second arrest at age 17. It was time to turn my life around. Thanks to Jesus and Heavy Metal. I did.
This album is smokes from start to finish. Warzone, Tribal Dance, Burning Question, Reign of Fire, and the title track all kick ass!

| Just ordered Win Hands Down, my first Armored Saint since Delirious Nomad. Not sure what has happened in between these two releases, but this album kicks butt. I couldn't wait and pulled the trigger on iTunes. I plan to investigate their catalog further. | |

Just thought I'd share this with you guys Symbol of Salvation is available on Spotify to listen to whenever you want. A lot of Armored Saint albums are available. I actually started listening to each of their available albums a while back and listened to their latest one a lot. I'm an old '80s lady; but, to me, with the technology we have today, there's no reason to buy CDs blindly anymore. In fact, if it's just music I will listen to at home while working out, I'll often not buy the CD or download albums even if I like them if I don't think I need a portable copy. I don't do Spotify. I'm not in a hurry and I don't need to hear this album. I have plenty of music to listen to. I certainly don't need to sample Symbol of Salvation any more, I already know it's something I would enjoy. I'll just buy it when I think I can get around to it. Then I'll appreciate it more. Listening to it in full before buying would just diminish the first listening experience anyway.

| I've got Win Hands Down in my to-be-listened stack today. Still diggin' it a lot, it made my top 5 of 2015 list. A vast improvement over La Snooza. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| And the latest chapter in this story...
I saw it cheap again last week, and ordered. I remembered this thread and how I've almost bought it several times. I figured, what the hell, let's do this finally.
...only to receive an email today that the online vendor doesn't have it in stock anymore.
Maybe it just isn't meant to be?

| I remember there was a poll - that really got me to think about what concert would you like to see - early 80's - the type of concert 500 people would be at - of course CRUE caught my eye - but I went with Armored Saint - I saw them on a Sunday afternoon show - March of the Saint show - they were totally explosive - and wild - with a unique sound - the way Grimm Reaper was....and Savatage.....just power !

That's a good one to get, although in all honesty, the additional 2 discs that come with it are kind of a "listen to once, then skip". It's been awhile since I played disc 2 with the demos, so I don't recall if they're much different than the finished product (which is killer). Disc 3 is an interview disc. How many times do you want to hear that? _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was.
