I love the Matthew Good Band. One of those great Canadian discoveries when I was addicted to MuchMusic in the mid 90's.
One of my favorite videos
I had Beautiful Midnight long ago. Think I got it as a promo. Not sure I ever listened to it before getting rid of it. Shame, really, because I missed out on some great music. I downloaded all his albums a while back and absolutely love them. So now I'm trying to "replace" those downloads with the real things.

I'm partial to Last Of The Ghetto Astronauts since that was where I discovered them. Fortunately most can be found cheap (still hoping to find Loser Anthems at a more reasonable price). The samples for the new record sound good too.

Yeah, I see it too. Some kind of bug in the forum software. It's irritating as hell.

They are a mid 90's 'jump up and down' band.

It's Finger Eleven before the name change, when they were young turds thinking they were witty and funny.
Surprisingly, the album isn't goofball nonsense, as the band name suggests. It's quite good, in fact.
But yeah, really stupid name.

Yup. I dig them. For an extra $2 they're quite worth it. But I'm a fanboy.

I actually kind of like that Seasick Steve song. Definitely has a ZZ Top vibe to it. Stupid video though; WTF is that guy holding anyway?

I believe it's a homemade guitar that Seasick Steve made from a hubcap, which refers to the album's title Hubcap Music. No idea if he actually plays that thing on the album, but the story goes that he built his first guitar from various junk laying around the trailer. Something to that effect.

That one reminds me of a rawer version of George Thorogood.
