Saxon! I got the 2013 Edsel reissues:
Solid Ball of Rock Forever Free Dogs of War
Just happened to see these in Stockholm the other day. Immediately picked them all up. All come with bonus tracks and a nice booklet. Only downside was that they were all full price.

KISS - Unplugged (2 cd + dvd)
I found this copy at a record show earlier today. It has the cd and the dvd of their Unplugged performance. Plus a Greatest Hits cd. I need another KISS Greatest Hits like I need a hole in the head. But I haven't seen Unplugged packaged like this before so I grabbed it.

So happy I was able to nab this one brand new for a reasonable price. Not sure why this disc fetches such high prices ($50+). It's good, but nothing that special. But at least my BotS discography is complete. So I'm happy.
And the local Goodwill paid off this weekend...
Aerosmith - A Little South of Sanity (live/2cd) Black Sabbath - Cross Purpose Black Sabbath - The Headless Cross Sonata Arctica - The Days of Grays* Sonata Arctica - Reckoning Night*
*I'm not a big fan of the whole symphonic power metal genre, so these were picked up more for trade bait or re-sale.

DAMN, you lucky. All I ever find at the Goodwill near me are empty cases, CDs en Espanol, or outdated software discs. *kicks rock*

Yea, I did get lucky. And only .$97 a pop!! Most of the time, it's a bunch of crappola as well, but someone must've just dumped off a big collection. There was lots of metal, just not too much I was interested in or already had. Static X, Nightwish, AC/DC, Dope, some other 90's alt-metal stuff. Everything was in cases and in pretty good shape.

Yeah, I need to visit your Goodwill. Over here in Cali every one from Sac down to Bakersfield has a plethora of ancient Christian CD's, and that's all. I mean the bad kind.

Extreme - Pornograffiti
I really don't know why I never payed attention to Extreme growing up. All I can think of is that I heard the word 'funk' being thrown around in association with the band and was turned off. Growing up, funk was a cool to me as disco--meaning not at all. Too bad, 'cause I was really missing out.

That's actually a good album ("More Than Words" notwithstanding)

That's a great album. III Sides To Every Story, however, is brilliant.
