Hollywood Brats- s/t Silverhead- s/t
I had to shell out a bit for these, but since I'm working on this Glam project I figured now is the time as they were fairly reasonable and way OOP. Might not get another shot at them. I'm trying to fill my glam flash drive with mostly guitary stuff, and it's not that easy as a great deal of the old glam is just lame BS in costume. Really lame. Silverhead 16 and Savaged is just what I'm shooting for, one of the few with balls, and I hope the s/t is half as good.

I have searched for a cheap copy of that Silverhead CD, even the vinyl albums can be a bit pricey for that album. Michael Des Barres best work IMO. I know faint praise since the only thing he did I cared for was his band Detective but still....

Damn, man. I still have my ripped copy of the Hollywood Brats album (bought it when it was still in print for $10 or so), but I have been wanting to re-obtain a lot of the stuff I sold when I sold my collection.
Bums me out when I learn that some are out of print.

I used to have quite the punk/proto/glam/garage collection. So much of it is out of print now. I can still listen to the music I ripped...but man, I miss the collection. A quick search on Amazon shows another one, The Saints Wild About You collection, ranging $28 for used to $75 for new. Not cool, man.
And it looks like I can forget about owning physical copies of the Samhain stuff, until it ever gets reissued.

Oh, also, dude, do you have the S'Cool Girls EP yet? New "retro" glam or whatever, but it is fun as hell and completely could be passed off as some lost Mud, Hello, Glitter Band or Geordie type band from the 70s.

Been trying to pick up some Laser's Edge/Sensory albums that have come out lately. Glad I did, because these album and the one by In The Silence are really good.

I know! Their prices have risen around here, too. Unless it happens to be on sale in that first week, their albums generally run $17.99 to $19.99.
I actually asked Ken about this on Facebook a while back, because I've noticed a rise in CD prices for a lot of labels lately. Always from $17.99 to $19.99. I didn't know if it was because the labels had to raise prices or if the stores were doing it.
Ken said nothing on his end has changed. So that means CD prices are going up because, what, sales are down? Makes sense! Haha.
